My work experience has allowed me to build knowledge of the physical, emotional, and psychosocial needs of our communities. I have worked and taken educational training to further my knowledge of assisting and providing therapy for youth and adults who are experiencing or have survived domestic violence, trauma, as well as youth and adults who are diagnosed with mental health disorders. I have received training focusing on asylum for immigrants and the areas surrounding this issue, while applying treatment through a trauma-informed lens. I am fluent both written and verbal in the English and Spanish languages. I work each day to be sensitive to the multicultural needs and diversity of our communities.
